    Feb 1956 - TV antennas in 1956, for first independent television. Earlier shots of aerials for first broadcasts in 1935. Television in its early stages: spinning wheels, flickering lens, etc.
    1920s CU buffer belt keeps gentlemen at distance when dancing. VS Rag in Birmingham.
    Feb 1924 - Scenes of rail strike, idle engines and stations. Strikers meet an MP Mr Bromley. VS Man bending steel bars around head. VS of Birmingham firemen in training.
    Feb 1924 - First Labour government. CU Ramsay MacDonald. VS of Arthur Henderson.
    Feb 1925 - Birmingham's Hall of Memory opened. Admiral Jellicoe riding through streets of Birmingham, inspecting naval troops.
    Feb 1929 - Duke and Duchess of York open generating station in Coleshill. VS of Hams Hall power station. Duke (later King George VI) starts generator.
    Feb 1927 - Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII) visits British Industries Fair (BIF).
