Full title reads: "News from the American Continent".

Intertitle reads: "For Trans-Pacific Service - America's latest plane tested at Baltimore".

    United States of America, USA.

New high speed aeroplane service inaugurated. Originally part of News in a Nutshell.

Various shots of large seaplane being towed out of large aircraft hangar. We see the plane going down a slipway. Various shots of the seaplane taking off from the sea and in flight.

Note: paperwork for 35/2 conflicts with story transferred - paperwork suggests this should be a story about famous pilots (including Sir Alan Cobham) testing new high speed plane at Portsmouth Aerodrome. Original story maybe missing or misplaced? AH 2001.
