    Intertitle - 'Grays, Essex.' - M/S as the boys from the training ship "Warspite", and their visitors, have a three-legged race towards the camera. L/S of people watching. M/S of a tug of war race. M/S of boys pillow fighting whilst sitting on a pole. Boys wearing fencing masks sit on others' shoulders and fence. M/S of a boy dressed as a Spaniard and another as Mickey Mouse, a pantomime horse falls down next to them. M/S of boys climbing through tyres suspended on ropes. M/S of visitors watching, M/S of boys climbing up ropes and running across obstacle course. M/S of one in a barrow, he is pushed along and hits a bucket on a pole with a stick, it spills its contents on the ground.

    Intertitle - 'Chertsey, Surrey' - M/S of a horse-drawn ploughing competition. M/S of Benito Mussolini on a mechanical plough, showing how it is done in Italy. Various shots of the horses walking along in rows. The ploughmen stand and watch whilst judges measure furrows. M/S as a ribbon is pinned on the winning horse. M/S of a ploughman drinking from a bottle.

    Intertitle - 'Worcestershire' - M/S of Minister of Health Sir Kingsley Wood walking with officials at Worcestershire hop yards, everyone cheers. M/S as he speaks to the pickers and looks at the hops. M/S as he meets Mrs Billingham, an 85 year old hop picker.

    Intertitle - 'Princes Risborough' (Buckinghamshire) - L/S of people gathered to watch a stagecoach marathon from Aylesbury to Princes Risborough. M/S as the coach sets off and rounds the corner past crowds, M/S of a lady watching with her baby. M/S as the coach rides along, men and women are sat on the top. It arrives and stops beside another coach. The stagecoaches are judged and the winner is Mr Bertram Mills. A lady sat next to him is handed the trophy.

    Intertitle - 'Shelsley Walsh' (Near Worcester, Worcestershire). Various shots of people gathered under umbrellas for the hill climb. The cars are wheeled to the starting line, one competitor sets off in a baby Austin, M/S as he rounds the bend. Various shots as other racers set off and continue the climb, men and women compete. (Note: variable density negative makes picture look like it is flickering.)

    Intertitle - 'United States' (America, USA). L/S of people walking towards a golf course to watch the Walker Cup. Various shots as Britain competes against America. M/S of the two British golfers talking to each other about how they lost.

    Title missing - 'Wedding in a Whale's Mouth' - The bride and groom approach a large whale's head (not sure whether it is a model or a real one!) with their witnesses and the minister, they climb inside its mouth and kneel down. The ceremony is performed then they get out and people throw rice at them. C/U of the couple, they kiss. (Note: the soundtrack to this item is missing, the paperwork does not indicate the location, who the couple are and why they are getting married in a whale's mouth!).

    Note: The items entitled 'Troops sail for Palestine' and 'M.C.C. Cricket Team sails for Australia' are missing from this edition).
