    Item title reads - News in a Nutshell.

    Intertitle - 'Grays, Essex.' M/S of Vice-Admiral Evans boarding the "Warspite" and saluting. He carries out an inspection of the boys. M/S of cadets performing the hornpipe on deck during the show, others do stretching exercises and the audience applauds. M/S as the cadets jump over a vaulting horse, one boy jumps through a hoop held over the top. M/S of Lady Tupper stood behind a table presenting prizes to the cadets.

    Intertitle - 'Japan.' M/S of men running along wearing ceremonial dress and carrying poles, they also wear masks as they fight each other with the sticks during the Shinto festival.

    Intertitle - 'Paris.' (France). Two outboard motorboats race along the river Seine, various shots as the competitors bump along. C/U of Georges Moneret (?), the winner.

    Intertitle - 'Hatfield.' (Hertfordshire). Various shots of aeroplanes flying in the King's Cup air race. M/S as a man announces the winner is pilot Charles Gardener. Sir Philip Sassoon presents the Cup and makes a speech thanking people for coming, and congratulating the winner. M/S of Gardener stood holding the Cup with his co-pilot (?), he makes a speech about how much he enjoyed it.

    Intertitle - 'On the Clyde.' (Scotland). M/S of yachts sailing along in a race on the Clyde. M/S of American entry "Indian Scout" which arrived only just in time to enter the race then went on to win it.

    Intertitle - 'London.' M/S of a building on fire in Cripplegate at night, various shots as flames pour out, then water runs down the walls.

    Intertitle - 'Lord's' (London) - L/S of fashionable crowds at the Eton v. Harrow cricket match. L/S of the match, M/S as a girl in the stands eats ice-cream as rain stops play. M/S of two ladies under an umbrella, M/S as another holds her skirt up to avoid the wet. Narrator says the match was abandoned as a draw. M/S of a boy in a top hat holding hands with his twin sisters, he points at the camera.

    Intertitle - 'Bristol.' (North Somerset, formerly Avon). M/S of an elephant being ridden at the zoo. M/S of baby onyx being fed out of a bottle. M/S as Peter the sea lion is thrown fish by his keeper while people watch. M/S as a keeper approaches the giraffes who put their necks down to get their food. M/S as they eat out of the hands of schoolgirls. M/S of a fairground with a carousel in the middle, C/U of carousel spinning around. M/S of a monkey eating ice-cream out of a cone. M/S of lots of monkeys gathering around their feeding bowls. M/S as they jump in and out of a barrel.
