    Putney to Mortlake, London. M/S of Ted Phelps in his scull on the Thames, he is given a push away from the bank. M/S of his opponent Bert Barry. L/S of the sculling race, a man shouts instructions through a megaphone. M/S of Phelps as he draws in front, a flotilla of boats follow. M/S as they pass under Hammersmith bridge, various shots as they row and Phelps passes the finish line 38 seconds in front. M/S as Barry also finishes. M/S as they shake hands, M/S of Phelps carried shoulder high.

    Somerset. M/S of people gathered around Dunkerry (?) Beacon which is covered in a Union Jack flag. M/S of people standing around, L/S of the rolling hills and beautiful countryside. M/S as the flag is pulled away by Colonel Wiggin and Mrs Hughes to reveal a plaque. M/S of the countryside.

    London. M/S as officers and men from H.M.A.S "Sydney" march towards the Guildhall. M/S as London's Lord Mayor, Stephen Killik, gets out of the carriage and shakes hands with officials before entering for the 7 course lunch he is having with the crew of the ship.

    Poole Harbour, Dorset. L/S of motorboats competing in a championship, they speed across the harbour. M/S as people watch them, various shots as they race along. M/S as they turn and change direction quickly.

    St. Paul's church, Knightsbridge, London. M/S of bridesmaids in satin walking towards the church, a little page boy in old military uniform follows with his arms out. M/S of the bride, the Honourable Vanda Vivian, walking towards the church with her father. M/S of women lining the path and trying to get a better look. M/S as she emerges from the church with her new husband, Mr Philip Clement Bridgwater. They walk through the Guard of Honour formed by the groom's regiment, the 5th Inniskilling Dragoons. Various shots of the happy couple, and the guests outside.

    Pacific coast of America (USA). M/S as people jump in boats for the Salmon Derby, the camera pans across them sailing along. M/S as one fisherman catches a salmon and reels it in. Various shots as they haul in the fish. M/S pan across the men holding up their catches. M/S of President Hay of the Port Angeles Salmon Club shaking hands with the winner. He says it is traditional to baptise the winner, so a man comes up behind him and pours a bucket of water over his head, they all laugh.
