Animation featuring Jerry the Troublesome Tyke - a cartoon dog. A cartoon curtain rises. A U.I.C. production. M/S of Sid Griffiths reading a newspaper. He folds it up and looks at his drawing board. He sees Jerry walking along with a bag of golf clubs on his back. "Hello Jerry, where are you going?" asks Sid. Jerry walks along and says "Golfing!" Sid sits back in his chair and says: "Off to the links, eh?" Jerry says: "I've got my own." Sid scratches his head. "Own what?" "Links!" Jerry holds out a cufflink. It has the initials AO and FB on either side. Sid scratches his chin. Dissolve into some sheet music. It is the song "The More We Are Together" and is the official song of the Ancient Order of Froth Blowers. (Presumably this is what AO and FB stands for). Dissolve back into shot of Sid at the drawing board. He wags a finger at Jerry. "Beware of the 19th hole!" Jerry looks puzzled. He puts his cufflink in his pocket.

We see Jerry tee off. He is pleased with his shot. He takes another shot. A bird is alarmed and flies down from a tree and lays an egg by Jerry's foot. He takes a shot, his golf club bag walks off and Jerry holds his nose - presumably the egg was bad. At the 13th hole the ball goes round and round but doesn't drop in. Jerry swaps the numbers around so that it says 31. The ball goes in. He changes the numbers back and cocks a snook at the sign. At the 18th hole Jerry uses another ball to pot his ball with a snooker cue. A rabbit pops out of the hole and says: "Bet you can't do the 19th hole!" He throws Jerry the ball. Jerry hits it and it lands in a glass of beer. A golfer is relaxing at the clubhouse with a drink. "That's the 19th hole!" observes Jerry pointing at the beer. He blows the froth off then drinks the beer. He points to his mouth and says: "And that's the 20th!!" Intertitle reads: "And he'll be 'bunkered' here until next week!"

Was an item in Pathe Pictorial, issue number unknown. Note: interesting mixture of real footage and animation. Can EP313 was originally mislabelled as EP382.
