Titles read: "SOMETHING for the LADIES! Feminine pictorialities No. 25. BATH AND BEACH".
Various shots of women in swimming costumes parading about an open air swimming pool. Some girls wear slacks and trouser suits. Men and women sit at tables making notes. Not sure if it is a fashion show or a beauty contest (or both).
At an indoor fashion show we see more girls in printed two-piece swimsuits (quite scanty bikini tops for 1934) and native-style flip-flops. Another model in a midriff-baring top puts on a large cartwheel hat as commentator says "She seems to wear the hat by the yard and the material by the inch". Models put on bangles to match their outfits. On the catwalk we see a mannequin take off her sarong skirt to reveal her two-piece costume as rows of women look on.
