    Title reads: "Dave and Dusty".

    Location of events unknown.

M/S of small boy (Dave) with dog on string (Dusty) walking down street. The boy pauses in doorway reading sign: "Magic for sale". Dave lifts his dog and enters shop. Various shots of owner of shop, Will Goldston, testing out one of the tricks - a disappearing cage, Dave watches.

Various shots of Dave looking at some ventriloquist's dummies; he looks under their clothes and inside their mouths. The dummies start talking to him (actually the narrator's voice but still quite spooky). The dummies say they want a cigarette, they tell Dave get some from a box in the counter. Dave opens the box and a toy snake flies out. Dave picks up Dusty and runs out of the shop.

Note: one of a series of "Dave and Dusty" stories for children.
