The Olympics events that never made it. Official Olympic events used to be held alongside unofficial ones, at the same place and time. These demonstration sports were added to the program as a trial for future full inclusion, or simply for promoting the sport to an international audience. We have put together this gallery of high octane, bland and barmy Olympic sports.
