Another thrifty summer for Britain means that many of us will be making do with our own chalky shores for amusement. Yet not that long ago, before package holiday culture came into place, most of us had a ball at British holiday camps. Accommodation
While taking the monorail the luggage arrived via little buggies. We think that's an industrial estate in the background but it probably doesn't bother the eye too much from ground level. These are the holiday chalets, where many a British romance sprung.
