9. Engelbert Humperdinck
Born Arnold George Dorsey on the 2nd May, 1936, he changed his name to the more arresting Engelbert Humperdinck in 1965. Engelbert Humperdinck was a 19th-century composer of operas such as Hansel and Gretel.
Humperdinck found himself back in the news this year when it was announced that he would represent the United Kingdom in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.
