Following on from our series of Diamond Jubilee galleries we felt it was time to celebrate other elements of British culture that make us proud. We asked everyone in our London office what sprang to mind when you say Best of British. This is the Top 25! Any guesses?

20. Rolls Royce
Founded by Charles Stewart Rolls and Henry Royce in 1904, Rolls Royce is synonymous with British luxury and gentrified elitism. The first two-cylinder model went on sale for just £395 at the turn of the last century. Since then prices have spiralled with limited edition models such as the Rolls Royce Phantom Solid Gold selling for £4million in April this year.
